There's More To My Story

...and I've been happily exploring all the nooks and crannies of design ever since.

The little design flame of my childhood was ignited over episodes of Trading Spaces and What Not To Wear, and I am sure my parents were just thrilled when I thought the best way to redecorate our bathroom was to create a "wallpaper" border made of paint chips taped up all over the place. But I never doubted that design was what I wanted to do with my life. That's the gift that design is- it reinvents itself over and over again. It stays rooted in tradition AND becomes new again all the time. There are so many different ways to design and create. Let me tell you, painting a picture is not my thing. But when I found Illustrator and later InDesign, I found my medium. Manipulating fonts and combining colors that can MOVE you is such a fun way to create.
